From December 2020
We were back at Shannon Airport today demanding an end to its use by the US military. While we respected Covid-19 restrictions and did not gather to protest over the last few months, the imperialist US war machine continued to send troops through Shannon. And our Fianna Fail/Fine Gael/Green Party government continued to sign off on permits to allow them to do that, while at the same time imposing restrictions on everyone else’s travel. But our protests are not going away!
We wish all our supporters a peaceful Christmas, as we look forward to a time when Ireland once again works to promote peace around the world.
